Gregg Re is a cum laude graduate of the New York University School of Law, where he served as Notes Editor on the New York University Law Review and a criminal defense clinic attorney at the Federal Defenders of New York. He previously studied government at Georgetown University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Mr. Re focuses on general litigation and intellectual property matters. He has represented an array of clients in media and entertainment, including musical group the Beastie Boys in their successful copyright infringement action against the Monster Beverage Corporation; former Major League baseball player Derek Jeter in his defense of a breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty action; and motion picture company Relativity Media LLC in its Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Additionally, Mr. Re has experience advising on transactional matters, including intellectual property licensing.
Prior to joining Gerard Fox Law P.C. in Los Angeles, Mr. Re. was an associate attorney at the international law firm Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP in New York City. He is licensed to practice in both New York and California.
