Michael P. Yarbro began his legal career in the New York metropolitan area working for Bank of Smithtown. His transactional experience includes representing financial institutions in lending, banking, leasing, and commercial and residential real estate transactions. Mr. Yarbro also has experience in corporate and non-profit formation, maintenance, and governance.
Mr. Yarbro’s litigation experience covers all stages of the litigation process with a focus on the management of high-volume discovery and electronically stored and produced data in cases involving: general business litigation, real estate and corporate control, entertainment/First Amendment, professional sports, and trust litigation involving Federal RICO and breaches of fiduciary duty. Mr. Yarbro has extensive experience in gathering and protecting information of high profile clientele, such as musicians and professional athletes, during the discovery process. He has participated in numerous trials, and is adept at synthesizing high volume trial exhibits, complex corporate structures, and intricate damages calculations into summary demonstratives and trial presentations.
Mr. Yarbro’s post-trial experience involves the collection of judgments through the creation of liens, execution of levies, garnishments, and participation in judgment debtor examinations.
