Spyros Arsenis concentrates his practice in sports law, real estate financing (representing both lenders and borrowers), office/retail leasing, corporate financing and lending, and banking and financial services.
Prior to joining Gerard Fox Law, Mr. Arsenis spent the first 14 years of his legal career working at a number of large law firms, including Holland & Knight LLP and Sullivan & Worcester LLP, representing clients in a diverse set of transactional matters with particular expertise in: commercial real estate financing (acquisition, construction, project and mezzanine), representing both lenders and borrowers, purchase and sale of real estate, representing landlords and tenants in leasing transactions for offices, shopping centers and other retail uses, hospitality and food and beverage transactions.
Mr. Arsenis’s highly focused passion for the sports industry and his keen and acute insight into the nuances of this unique specialty area has also resulted in successfully applying his wide ranging and diverse transactional practice to the business of sports.
Mr. Arsenis earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2001, where he served as a Staff Member of the St. John’s Law Review. He received his LL.M in International Sports Law Practice in 2016 and has also earned a M.S. in Financial Markets and Trading from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1997.
Away from work, Mr. Arsenis enjoys discussing and quizzing anyone who would listen on baseball trivia.
Mr. Arsenis is a member of the Sports Lawyers Association.
Mr. Arsenis is fluent in Greek.
