Thomas P. Burke Jr. graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2012, where he served as an associate editor of the Journal of Business Law, as well as a founding member of the Law & Brain Student Group and president of the Boxing Club.
After graduating, Mr. Burke returned to California to begin his career in the intellectual property litigation group of the Los Angeles office of Kirkland & Ellis. During his time at Kirkland & Ellis, Mr. Burke drafted substantial portions of motions and petitions, participated in offensive and defensive deposition preparation, and managed discovery in large and complex cases.
Since his first experience with mock trial as a junior in high school, Mr. Burke has been working toward his goal of being an outstanding trial attorney. While earning his degree in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California, he was a member of the nationally ranked mock trial team, and he coached a local high school team while at Penn.
Tom has represented clients ranging from hedge funds to hardware manufacturers and medical device companies to international airlines.
