Trevor Maxim graduated from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2017. While in school, he represented clients in USC's Intellectual Property & Technology Law Clinic, and served as Chief Production Editor for the inaugural issue of the USC Entertainment Law Spotlight. He worked as a legal intern at Magical Elves (producer of Top Chef) and was a summer associate at Gerard Fox Law in 2016.
USC awarded Mr. Maxim the Norma Zarky Memorial Award for entertainment law and the Roger Sherman Prize in Intellectual Property. In addition, he won the Peter Knecht Memorial Award from the Los Angeles Copyright Society for excellence in the field of contract, copyright, or entertainment law. Mr. Maxim was one of five finalists in the 2017 GRAMMY Foundation Entertainment Law Initiative writing competition, based on his essay about the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and fair use.
Mr. Maxim graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, studying Motion Pictures and Economics.
