Gerard Fox Law maintained its momentum from the previous year, leading to an exceptional 2017.

In January, Gerard Fox Law achieved a successful verdict in a commercial real estate and partnership dispute involving three consolidated actions which was heard in the Los Angeles Superior Court Complex Civil Litigation Program. On behalf of their clients, Gerard Fox Law prevailed on claims for Breach of Oral Contract, Intentional Misrepresentation, and False Promise Without Intent to Perform and obtained a damages award totaling over $1.5 million.

This summer, the firm’s Los Angeles trial team gained another victory in the Los Angeles Superior court for its client, Gregg Ziskind & Associates, a renowned legal staffing agency. The Los Angeles Superior Court jury returned with a verdict after less than a day following the six-day bifurcated trial against Manatt, Phelps & Phillips for the entirety of Ziskind’s Breach of Contract claim.

A complex fraud case filed by Gerard Fox attorneys on behalf of 32 Chinese nationals recently received coverage in the Washington Post, Associated Press, Politico, and other outlets.  The suit claims that the current Governor of Virginia, Terry McAuliffe, Anthony Rodham (brother of Hillary Clinton), and Charles Wang cheated investors in their electric car company out of over $500,000 each as part of a plot to exploit a federal immigration program, known as EB-5.

While the past year was remarkable, 2018 is primed to be a banner year for Gerard Fox Law, and we look forward to continuing our tradition of bringing extraordinary value and unparalleled expertise to our clients.
